Agricultural production in Ukraine in January-February 2016 declined by 2.1% year-over-year, according to the State Statistics Service.
In particular, agri-businesses reduced production by 2.4% and private farms saw a 1.7% decrease in output in the first two months of 2016.
Agricultural production in February 2016 slid by 10% from January 2016 and by 1.6% from February 2015.
The report does not include data from the Russian-occupied Crimea and the Anti-Terrorist Operation zone in Donbas.
Ukraine saw a 4.8% decline in agricultural production in 2015 from 2014. Agri-businesses posted a 5.2% decline, while private farmers saw a 4.3% decrease.
