Ukrainians report over UAH 8 bln in income

In the framework of campaign on income reports for taxation, launched January 1 to last until May 1, 903 citizens have submitted data to tax services reporting income in 2015 exceeding UAH 1 million, while total income was reported at UAH 4.6 billion, Ukraine’s State Fiscal Service says.

The amount of income tax, which the "millionaires" have determined personally, amounted to UAH 84.2 million, plus military tax – UAH 9.8 million.

The report says nearly 105,000 declarations of income and property has been filed as of today. Most declarations were submitted by citizens in Zaporizhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Mykolaiv and Poltava regions. The total amount of income declared as of March 11 stood at UAH 8.2 billion, which was higher by UAH 1.1 billion, or 15%, than in the same period last year.

The amount of personal income tax determined by citizens as payable to the budget is UAH 233.7 million, and military tax – UAH 43.3 million.

In January 2016, Ukrainian citizens submitted nearly 14,600 property and income tax returns for 2015, with the total amount of income declared standing at UAH 1.28 billion as of February 1.
