Consolidated revenue grew by 1.8% in 2015, to UAH 93.622 billion from UAH 91.946 billion, the company said.

It is reported that in 2015, DTEK earnings before taxes (EBITDA) decreased almost 66.7%, to UAH 4.087 billion from UAH 12.019 billion in 2014.

"High inflation growth rates, the increased cost of process fuel, equipment and consumables and growth of railway tariffs resulted in the higher cost of electricity production, which were not compensated by the tariff set for the thermal power plants (TPPs) of DTEK Energy," the statement reads.

As UNIAN reported earlier, last year DTEK reduced production of electricity by 20% to 38.284 billion kWh as compared to 47.8 billion kWh in 2014. Coal output decreased by 22.7% from 37.1 million tonnes in 2014 to 28.7 million tonnes last year.

The company's coal business includes DTEK Pavlogradugol, (consisting of 10 coal mines), DTEK Dobropolyeugol (five mines), DTEK Mine Komsomolets Donbassa, DTEK Rovenkianthracite (six mines and three coal preparation plants), DTEK Sverdlovanthracite (five mines and three coal preparation plants), ALC Mine Bilozerska and five enrichment plants.

The power generation business is represented by DTEK Skhidenergo, DTEK Zahidenergo, and DTEK Dniproenergo.

Power transmission and trade is carried out by Service-Invest, DTEK Energougol ENE, DTEK Donetskoblenergo, and DTEK Dniprooblenergo.

The company also owns Kyivenergo that generates and distributes power and heat in Kyiv.
