State-run Ukreximbank posted UAH 14.131 billion, or $561 million, in loss in 2015, which was 25.6% up on 2014 loss estimated at UAH 11.247 billion, or $446 million.
Ukreximbank's annual loss was mainly due to depreciation estimated at UAH 13.294 billion and a UAH 6.824 billion difference in exchange rates of forex operations, which was partly compensated with yields on investment securities, the bank said in an updated annual report on its website.
