The State Fiscal Service of Ukraine (SFS) has recovered UAH 499.3 million to the state budget based on the results of inspections in a public procurement sector, according to a posting on the SFS website.
It is reported that a total of 191 criminal proceedings have been registered in the Unified Register of pre-trial investigations for violations in the sphere of public procurements.
Most violations are classified under article 191 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. This includes misappropriation, embezzlement of property or seizure by means of the official position abuse," the statement reads.
