Vadym Denysenko, the MP from the Block of Petro Poroshenko faction, says Russia offers Ukraine to buy gas at $170 per 1,000 cubic meters, the price being little lower than that under reverse gas imports from Europe, while at the same time putting forward unacceptable conditions, Ukrainian news service TSN reported.
"At the moment, the Russian side states it is ready to offer gas slightly cheaper than that we get from a [gas trading] hub in Europe. But we have to pay $800 million for gas that we have allegedly consumed in the occupied territories of Ukraine, and provide an advance payment of $3 billion," Denysenko said during a political TV show.

As earlier reported, Ukraine has not imported gas from Russia for more than 200 days. Earlier, Naftogaz CEO Andriy Kobolev stated that Ukraine would be able to cover its gas demand with reverse flows from Europe, while it would be ready to resume imports of Russian gas only if its price was more attractive.
