"Yesterday [July 25], the board of Ukrzaliznytsia presented the detailed action plan in the Ministry of Infrastructure for three hours. It covers all activities and determines short-term targets to restore normal functioning of the company. There are several hundreds of actions described in our plan. Here only some of them are listed," Balczun wrote on Facebook.

"The main target of our actions in (the) next six months will be (the) fight against corruption. Particularly (in) the implementation of transparent tender procedures," he said.

According to him, a significant change in approach – tender specifications that are prepared for the project's fulfillment – should lead to more market offers.
