The National Bank of Ukraine on Thursday evening strengthened the official hryvnia exchange rate by two kopiykas, bringing the national currency to UAH 24.79 to the dollar.
The Central Bank set the following official exchange rates of the hryvnia against leading foreign currencies for July 29:
$100 costs UAH 2,479.8204 (on July 28, it was UAH 2,481.5350);
EUR 100 costs UAH 2,750.1208 (on July 28, it was UAH 2,727.4551);
10 RUB costs UAH 3.7509 (on July 28, it was UAH 3.7629).

Hryvnia quotes against the euro settled at UAH 27.5290/27.5380, while those against the Russian ruble settled at UAH 0.3720/0.3730.
According to the National Bank of Ukraine, the weighted average exchange rate of the hryvnia as of 17:00 was UAH 24.7982 to the dollar, with 445 deals concluded by this time worth a total of $349.93 million.
