Ukraine's industrial goods sales in January-June 2016 amounted to UAH 796.6 billion, which is 12.1% higher than the same period last year, the State Statistics Service of Ukraine reported.
Industrial goods sales in the processing industry, which accounted for 64.6% of the total sales volume in H1, amounted to UAH 515.052 billion, according to the State Statistics Service's data.
Sales in the mining and quarrying sectors stood at UAH 98.429 billion (12.4% of the total sales volumes).
Sales in sectors such as power, gas and conditioned air supplies (21.9% of the total sales volumes) amounted to UAH 174.404 billion.
The highest sales in the period under review were recorded in Dnipropetrovsk region – UAH 147.532 billion, Donetsk region – UAH 91.544 billion, and the city of Kyiv – UAH 70.009 billion.
