Kremenchuk Automobile Plant PJSC AvtoKrAZ, one of the largest companies producing heavy-duty trucks in Europe, fulfilled in late July, the state order on the Ukrainian Defense Ministry's requirements for 2016.
According to a contract concluded between AvtoKrAZ and the Defense Ministry in late 2015, various models of special purpose KrAZ vehicles, in configuration 4x4 and 6x6, trailers and semitrailers have been supplied to the customer within the stipulated term.
"We cannot disclose the models and the number of vehicles delivered according to the [terms] of the contract signed," AvtoKrAZ spokesperson Dina Stehantseva said.
She noted that the early execution of the state defense order was made possible due to the well-coordinated teamwork of all the company's strategic partners – the KrAZ group of companies, Ukrainian suppliers of components and manufacturers of special superstructures.
As UNIAN reported earlier, in 2015, AvtoKrAZ increased production of trucks by 1% to 1,401 units.
Last year, the company saw net loss increase by 2.4 times to UAH 371.5 million from UAH 148 million recorded in 2014. Also, in 2014, AvtoKrAZ posted a net loss of UAH 148 million against a net profit of UAH 19.79 million in 2013.
