The National Bank of Ukraine on Monday evening lowered the official hryvnia exchange rate by one kopiyka, bringing the national currency to UAH 24.81 to the dollar.
The Central Bank set the following official exchange rates of the hryvnia against leading foreign currencies for August 9:
$100 costs UAH 2,481.9639 (on August 8, it was UAH 2,480.5647);
EUR 100 costs UAH 2,751.7534 (on August 8, it was UAH 2,767.3180);
10 RUB costs UAH 3.8137 (on August 8, it was UAH 3.7835).

According to the National Bank of Ukraine, the weighted average exchange rate of the hryvnia as of 17:00 was UAH 24.8196 to the dollar, with 458 deals concluded by this time worth a total of $265.57 million.
