Ukraine resumes gas imports from Poland

Ukraine has resumed natural gas imports from Poland in the pace of 4.25 million cubic meters (mcm) per day after the completion of repair works at a major gas pipeline in Lviv region, Ukrtransgaz spokesperson Maksym Beliavskiy wrote on Facebook.

"At 07:00 on September 12, gas imports from Poland were resumed, with the pace of 4.25 mcm, corridor workload at 99%," the report says.

It is also noted that the emergency repair works to tackle depressurization of the pipeline in Lviv region, which had been reported in the early hours of Friday, September 9, were completed ahead of schedule, namely in the night of September 11.
