On October 25, ex-Minister of Economy of Ukraine, Academician Bohdan Danylyshyn was appointed Head of the Council of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU).
According to the NBU's report, an economist Tymofiy Mylovanov became Deputy Head of the NBU Council.
"We will always proceed from the overall position in the work of the Council of the National Bank, but everyone's opinion is respected. We can debate, discuss, but most important is to find a common position. We should work on macro-financial stability and ensuring social and economic development of Ukraine," Danylyshyn said.

As UNIAN reported earlier, on Tuesday, an updated Council of the National Bank of Ukraine at the first meeting after a year's break approved the annual consolidated financial statements of the central bank for 2015 and the distribution of profits of the central bank, which will allow to transfer UAH 38 billion of profit to the state budget.
