Mayor Klitschko declares EUR 8.5 mln lent to third parties, 7 bikes, Yamaha piano

Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko has filed his electronic declaration of assets for 2015 on time, having mentioned EUR 8.5 million lent to third parties, seven bicycles and a white grand piano.

This information is available on the website of the state registry of assets declarations filled in by government officials by October 30.

According to Klitschko, he lent EUR 8.515 million and $741,514 to third parties and kept $18,750, EUR 1,013 and UAH 5,534 in bank accounts, as well as $194,500 and $42,000 in hard cash.

The Kyiv mayor also mentioned his liabilities to a German insurance company – UAH 171,840 and UAH 135,096 under agreements with DKV Deutsche Krankenversicherung AG.

In addition, the mayor owns a Fine Custom Puncher 8.125-4 motorcycle, whose price was UAH 600,000, and an Ironhorse Widebody trailer for motorcycle transportation, which he bought in July 2013 for UAH 192,000.

The Klitschko family owns seven bicycles, namely Cannondale, Coratec and Scott brands.

He is also the owner of a white Yamaha DC1A grand piano priced at UAH 960,000.

What is more, the mayor declared seven wrist watches – IWC, Frank Muller, Mont Blanc, as well as an antique mantel clock, Jacques Murray & Co (France, the second half of the 19th century).

The mayor owns a flat whose total area is 251.8 square meters (sq. m.), which he claims he bought for UAH 35,000 (sic!) in December 2005 (its price was about $7,000 at the official forex rate at that moment). His wife, Natalia Yehorova, owns a house with a total area of 785.5 sq.m. since October 2013. Its declared price was UAH 3.62 million.
