Indonesian Navy expressed interest in the products of the Ukrainian defense industry in the framework of Indo Defence Expo and Forum held in Jakarta.
State-owned Ukrspetsexport, which is part of the State Concern Ukroboronprom and a major exporter of all types of weapons and military equipment, offered Indonesian partners to purchase technology for the construction of An-148-300MP Navy patrol aircraft.
"Deputy chief of Indonesia’s Navy Command was offered an opportunity for the supply of maritime patrol aircraft An-148-300MP with the subsequent transfer of these aircraft assembly technology at one of Indonesia's aircraft construction enterprises," reads a statement.
According to the report, the Indonesian Navy expressed interest in the products of Ukraine’s defense industry.
