Ukraine's GDP grew by 1.8% in the third quarter of 2016 year-on-year, against a 1.3% increase in the second quarter of 2016 compared to the same period of 2015, according to the State Statistics Service.
GDP in the third quarter of 2016 compared to the previous, second quarter of 2016, grew by 0.4% against a 0.6% increase in the second quarter compared to the first quarter.
The National Bank of Ukraine earlier announced its estimates of GDP growth in the third quarter of 2016, saying that GDP was 1.6% up on the third quarter of 2015.
