Populism and political insinuations undermine the fragile macroeconomic stability our country sees in the last year and a half, NBU Governor Valeria Gontareva said at a meeting of the National Bank Council.
"This flirting with populism and political insinuations undermine macroeconomic stability of our country," she said.
She noted that the National Bank of Ukraine has been under political pressure for almost two months.

As UNIAN reported earlier, Gontareva said that Ukraine was facing a threat of losing support of international financial institutions and not receiving another tranche from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) this year.
