The National Bank of Ukraine on Thursday evening lowered the official hryvnia exchange rate by eight kopiykas, bringing the national currency to UAH 25.63 to the dollar.
The Central Bank set the following official exchange rates of the hryvnia against leading foreign currencies for December 2:
$100 costs UAH 2,563.8209 (on December 1, it was UAH 2,555.8575);
EUR 100 costs UAH 2,724.5725 (on December 1, it was UAH 2,718.1545);
10 RUB costs UAH 4.0261 (on December 1, it was UAH 3.9177).

Hryvnia quotes against the euro settled at UAH 27.2217/27.3247, while those against the Russian ruble settled at UAH 0.4017/0.4037.
According to the National Bank of Ukraine, the weighted average exchange rate of the hryvnia as of 17:00 was UAH 25.6382 to the dollar, with 476 deals concluded by this time worth a total of $259.06 million.
