Minister of Finance of Ukraine Oleksandr Danyliuk has assured that the depositors' money invested in PrivatBank is safe and protected by the state.
"The money of depositors is safe and protected by the state. The bank is operating in a regular mode," the minister wrote on Facebook.
Danyliuk promised to elaborate on nationalization details at a joint briefing with National Bank Governor Valeria Gontareva, which will take place on Monday, December 19, at 8:30.

Deputy Chairman of PrivatBank" Oleh Horokhovsky said the money in the bank accounts would not be affected. He also noted that the bank will have a new Chairman of the Board -- Oleksandr Shlapak -- who will form a new team of top managers.
