Ukraine Parliament publishes state budget 2017

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has published on its website the law on the state budget of Ukraine for 2017 with the limit deficit at UAH 77.5 billion, or 3% of GDP.

The document status reads that the law published was passed in parliament on December 21, while its transitional provisions say that the legislation comes into force on January 1, 2017.

The law assumes revenues in the amount of UAH 731 billion, which is UAH 10 billion more than it was in the project submitted to its first reading, and UAH 25 billion more than in the original version of the government-offered bill.

The public debt ceiling as of December 31, 2017, is set at UAH 1.717 trillion and UAH 579.4 for publicly guaranteed debt, which totals UAH 2.296 trillion.

As UNIAN reported earlier, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the state budget 2017 overnight Wednesday, December 21.

The basis for the calculation of the main indicators was the macroeconomic outlook, envisaging real GDP growth at 3%, consumer inflation at 8.1%, and the average annual hryvnia exchange rate of about UAH 27 to the dollar.
