The hryvnia exchange rate could be no more than UAH 18.5 to the dollar if Ukraine was producing enough of its gas, and did not buy abroad, Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman said in an interview with one of the Ukrainian media, the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers has reported.
"I saw a recent analytics which shows that if we produced our gas in Ukraine, and did not buy for currency, the dollar would have cost no more than UAH 18.5," he said.
