Sales of new commercial vehicles in Ukraine in 2016 rose by 62% from 2015, to 8,354 cars, according to the Ukravtoprom association's press service.
Some 1,112 new commercial cars were sold in December 2016 alone, which was 16% up year-over-year, the association said.
Renault with 1,684 cars sold in 2016 showed the best result, having demonstrated a 68% increase in sales of new commercial cars compared to 2015, Ukravtoprom said.
Fiat ranked second, having boosted sales in Ukraine by 46%, to 1,044 new commercial cars.

As UNIAN reported earlier, sales of new passenger cars in Ukraine in 2016 grew by 41% from 2015, to 65,500 units, according to Ukravtoprom.
