Ukraine's anti-corruption watchdog launches probe against NBU Governor Valeria Gontareva

The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine has launched an investigation into the activities of National Bank Governor Valeria Gontareva and Managing Director of the Individual Deposits Guarantee Fund (IDGF) Kostyantyn Vorushilin, according to the Prosecutor General's Aide Vladyslav Kutsenko.

"Based on my report, the NABU launched an investigation into the activities of Gontareva and Vorushilin!” he wrote on Facebook, adding that criminal proceedings were launched under Article 365-2 Part 3 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
