Ukrainian gas reserves down to 11 bcm

Natural gas reserves in Ukrainian underground storage facilities (USFs) fell by 3.5%, or 405 million cubic meters, from 11.46 billion cubic meters to 11.055 bcm on January 8-14, according to the state-run gas transport system operator Ukrtransgaz.

As reported, 52.86 mcm of gas was withdrawn from storage facilities on January 14 alone.

As UNIAN reported earlier, the Government, in September 2016, approved the timetable for Ukraine's preparation for the heating season, as well as determined the amount of fuel reserves to provide heat and electricity to consumers.
