"According to an earlier project, as of January 1, 2021, at the time of retirement, a potential pensioner had to have at least 20 years of pensionable service, with the total of 30 years of employment, only 8% of Ukrainians could qualify for a pension. Now we are talking about how to reduce this insurance period down to 15 years, and on January 1, 2018, 30% of citizens will be able to apply for a state pension," the press service quotes Reva.
