Countries exporting steel pipes to Ukraine use 87% of 2016 quota

The countries that export steel pipes to Ukraine, namely Russia, Austria and Poland, used their quotas in 2016 by 87%, according to the Ukrainian Economic Development and Trade Ministry.

In particular, Russian producers used their quotas by 100%, having supplied almost 14,000 tonnes of pipes to Ukraine, reads a document posted on the ministry's website.

Poland supplied only 442 tonnes of pipes, which was 34% of its quotas.

As UNIAN reported earlier, quotas for steel pipes shipped to Ukraine were used by 82% in 2015. At the same time, Russian producers supplied 13,900 tonnes of pipes, which was 100% of their quota. Austria used 74.8% of its quota, having delivered 2,100 tonnes of steel pipes.
