The actual amount received in 2016 was 24.8% up on 2015, it said.

Earlier in December, the Fund planned to transfer as much as UAH 331 million to the budget from privatization in 2016. However, not all buyers had paid for privatized facilities in full yet, the SPF's press service said.

As UNIAN reported earlier, the SPF was expected to collect UAH 17.1 billion in privatization revenues in 2016, which had to be sent to the national budget in keeping with the Budget Code. However, large-scale privatization in 2016 failed due to the fact that a tender to sell the Odesa Portside Chemical Plant had not been held. None of investors submitted an application for the tender with the starting price set at UAH 5.16 billion.

The SPF also rescheduled the privatization of major energy facilities for 2017.

Budget revenues from privatization in 2015 amounted to UAH 151.5 million, which is 66.7% down on 2014.
