The National Bank of Ukraine on Tuesday evening strengthened the official hryvnia exchange rate by 10 kopiykas, bringing the national currency to UAH 27.23 to the dollar.
The Central Bank set the following official exchange rates of the hryvnia against leading foreign currencies for January 25:
$100 costs UAH 2,723.1902 (on January 24, it was UAH 2,733.2499);
EUR 100 costs UAH 2,926.8848 (on January 24, it was UAH 2,928.6773);
10 RUB costs UAH 4.5987 (on January 24, it was UAH 4.5934).

According to the National Bank of Ukraine, the weighted average exchange rate of the hryvnia as of 17:00 was UAH 27.2319 to the dollar, with 478 deals concluded by this time worth a total of $271.14 million.
