The National Bank of Ukraine on Thursday evening lowered the official hryvnia exchange rate by one kopiyka, bringing the national currency to UAH 27.21 to the dollar.
The Central Bank set the following official exchange rates of the hryvnia against leading foreign currencies for January 27:
$100 costs UAH 2,721.3078 (on January 26, it was UAH 2,720.8137);
EUR 100 costs UAH 2,911.7993 (on January 26, it was UAH 2,922.9702);
10 RUB costs UAH 4.5632 (on January 26, it was UAH 4.5999).

Hryvnia quotes against the euro settled at UAH 29.0471/29.0768, while those against the Russian ruble settled at UAH 0.4613/0.4630.
According to the National Bank of Ukraine, the weighted average exchange rate of the hryvnia as of 17:00 was UAH 27.2131 to the dollar, with 526 deals concluded by this time worth a total of $235.4 million.
