The volume of Ukrainian contracts for arms exports executed in 2016 grew by 25% year-over-year (y-o-y), amounting to $750 million, Ukroboronprom Deputy Director General for foreign economic activity Denis Hurak said at a press conference.
"Over the past year, we have exported equipment for $750 million, which is 25% more y-o-y," Hurak said.
He also added that a third of military products exported last year through Ukroboronprom's certified exporter companies had been manufactured by private companies that did not have licenses to export weapons.
Hurak also added that the portfolio of export contracts for the supply of military products signed in 2016 amounted to almost $1.5 billion.
