The growth of the Ukrainian economy amounted to about 2% in 2016, the rise of industrial production was 2.4%, while the consolidated production index exceeded 4%, according to the data of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine, published on its official website.
"In general, based on the results of 2016, the Ministry of Economic Development has estimated GDP growth at approximately 2%," reads the report.

"For the first time since 2012, due to the strengthening of macroeconomic stability, the consolidated production index showed growth."
