Ryanair may soon start operations in Ukraine – Ryanair's envoy

Europe's largest lowcoster Ryanair may soon announce the launch of flights to Ukraine, according to Juliusz Komorek, Chief Legal Officer/Secretary at Ryanair Holdings PLC.

The announcement regarding Ukraine direction is soon to come, Komorek said, according to the Polish edition Fly4free.

Komorek also hesitated to name the date when the flights would be launched, calling Ukraine a big market with not a very attractive transport network and the unpredictable situation on its borders.

He also noted that the company initially considered flights from Ukraine to Poland, as well as to other European countries.

In the end of 2016, the Deputy Minister of Infrastructure Yevhen Kravtsov confirmed that the details of talks were not disclosed upon request of Ryanair.
