Rates of construction and assembly services in Ukraine rose by 9.2% in 2016 against 2015, according to the State Statistics Service of Ukraine.
Costs of construction and assembly of pipelines, communications and power lines increased most of all, by 14.8%. The lowest increase was recorded in the construction of transport facilities, by 6.6%, the service said.
Costs of construction and installation works in December 2016 alone grew by 1.2% compared to November 2016, while it was 0.9% increase in November 2016 against October 2016.

The State Statistics Service noted that its data does not include information from the temporarily occupied territory in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, the city of Sevastopol, and Donbas.
As UNIAN reported earlier, construction and assembly costs in Ukraine grew by 27.1% in 2015 from 2014, and by 9.5% in 2014 from 2013.
