"As for the debt, there were three-day hearings in London two weeks ago. Ukraine presented its position. The judge is currently working on a verdict. No one knows what it will be. My own feeling is that the ruling will be in our favor," Danyliuk said at a press conference in Kyiv.

"At the same time, the parties are not expected to communicate with each other – it concerns both Russia and Ukraine. This is the rule of the High Court in London. We are waiting for the ruling. It may take some time. We expect it will happen in April," the minister added.

It should be recalled that the Kremlin was dissatisfied with a decision taken by the International Monetary Fund to change its rules to allow lending to Ukraine without Kyiv paying back the so-called "Yanukovych debt."
