Ukraine’s central bank spends almost $80 mln to support hryvnia in January

Net sales of the foreign currency by the National Bank of Ukraine in the interbank foreign exchange market in January totaled $78 million, as reported on the NBU website.

In January, the regulator has sold to banks some $235.8 million, while purchasing $157.8 million over the same period, according to the report.
