State-owned operator of Ukraine's united power grids Ukrenergo increased its net profit by 3.7 times in 2016 from 2015, to UAH 3.012 billion, according to Ukrenergo' statement.
The company's net revenue grew by 32% in 2016, to UAH 7.174 billion, while its gross profit rose by 43%, to UAH 4.989 billion, the statement said.

Ukrenergo's net revenue from electricity transmission grew by 76.4% in 2015 from 2014, to UAH 5.433 billion.
National energy company Ukrenergo operates the backbone and interstate power lines, as well as provides centralized dispatch of Ukraine's united power grids. The state-owned enterprise is subject to Ukraine's Energy and Coal Industry Ministry.
