Ukrainian Infrastructure Minister Volodymyr Omelyan has said a UAH 250 billion funding is necessary for the next five years to bring Ukrainian motorways to an adequate condition.
"The financing of at least UAH 50 billion per year within five years is required to bring Ukrainian roads to a normal state. After this period, we can say that the Ukrainian road network will be renewed," he said at a briefing.
As UNIAN reported earlier, the Minister said that only 1% of Ukrainian roads had been repaired over the past year.
