"We know for sure that all the banks with state capital from Russia that currently work in Ukraine are in talks on potential sale," she told Inter.

She says the NBU sees the sale as the best option for the Russian banks to leave the market of Ukraine, as "under the current conditions, unfortunately, it is for sure impossible to speak about any development of these banks in Ukrainian territory in the future."

Rozhkova assured that the possible sale of the banks would not affect their clientele.
