Ukraine issue not on IMF Exec Board agenda in March

The so-called Ukrainian issue has not been included in the agenda of meetings of the International Monetary Fund’s Executive Board until the end of March, according to an official schedule published on the IMF website.

According to the data published, consultations with the Qatari authorities are scheduled for March 20. March 22, consultations will be held with the representatives of Saint Lucia. March 24 consultations with Nauru, Israel, and the Dominican Republic’s authorities are set to be held. On March 29, consultations with the government of Nigeria are scheduled.

As UNIAN reported earlier, the IMF on March 19 suspended indefinitely the meeting of its Executive Board to consider the allocation to Ukraine of another $1 billion bailout tranche. The meeting had earlier been expected to be held March 20.
