Naftogaz confirms Kovaliv leaves post of Supervisory Board chairperson

Yuliya Kovaliv, who has been holding the position of chairperson of the Supervisory Board of the country's largest state energy holding NSJC Naftogaz of Ukraine since April 2016, submitted a resignation letter on April 3, and she is to leave her office on April 17, according to Naftogaz press service.

Kovaliv claimed that successful reforms of the gas sector and Naftogaz allowed reducing the deficit of public finances and freeing the market from intermediaries.

Kovaliv plans to focus on the work at the Office of the National Investment Council, the press service said.
