Ukraine sees agricultural output growth in March 2017

Agricultural production in Ukraine in March 2017 rose by 0.8% year-over-year and by 20.8% from February 2017, according to the Ukrainian State Statistics Service.

The service reported earlier that Ukraine's agricultural production declined by 0.8% January-March 2017. In particular, agri-businesses reduced output by 0.8% over the period under review, while private farmers saw the output shrink by 0.9%.

As UNIAN reported earlier, agricultural production in Ukraine grew by 6.1% in 2016 against 2015. In particular, agricultural enterprises boosted output by 9.8% in 2016 from 2015, while private farmers' output rose by 1.5%.
