The National Bank of Ukraine on Wednesday evening strengthened the official hryvnia exchange rate by six kopiykas, bringing the national currency to UAH 26.78 to the dollar.
The Central Bank set the following official exchange rates of the hryvnia against leading foreign currencies for April 20:
$100 costs UAH 2,678.7082 (on April 19, it was UAH 2,684.4959);
EUR 100 costs UAH 2,872.9145 (on April 19, it was UAH 2,867.5785);
10 RUB costs UAH 4.7685 (on April 19, it was UAH 4.7955).

According to the National Bank of Ukraine, the weighted average exchange rate of the hryvnia as of 17:00 was UAH 26.7871 to the dollar, with 498 deals concluded by this time worth a total of $279.98 million.
