Local budgets' revenue grows by almost US$1.55 bln in Q1 2017

Local budgets' general fund revenue, excluding transfers, was estimated at UAH 41.6 billion, or US$1.55 billion, in January-March 2017, which was 37.9%, or UAH 11.4 billion ($426 million), up year-over-year, according to the Ukrainian Finance Ministry's website.

The ministry provided statistics formed in comparable conditions, excluding reports from the territory uncontrolled by the Ukrainian government, the press service said.

The revenue over the period under review accounted for 25.9% of the annual plan approved by local councils, according to the data provided.

As UNIAN reported earlier, local budgets' general fund revenue, excluding transfers, amounted to UAH 146.6 billion, or $5.5 billion, in 2016, which was 49.3%, or UAH 48.4 billion ($1.8 billion), up against 2015.
