Groysman informed about searches in Dragon Capital

Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman has instructed the government commissioner to find out the reason for the searches conducted by the SBU Security Service of Ukraine in the Dragon Capital investment company.

"I've just been informed that there are searches in Dragon Capital Investment Company. How should I to react to this? They are seizing equipment, etc.," Groysman said during a government meeting on Wednesday.

"I instruct a government commissioner to get in touch with Dragon Capital and find out what's going on. I have no right to intervene in the work of the Security Service of Ukraine, but I think that everything should be done adequately, without paralyzing the investment fund's operations," he added.

Since 2007, a minority stake in Dragon Capital is owned by Goldman Sachs, one of the world's largest financial institutions.
