Natural gas production in Ukraine in January-March 2017 increased by 0.6% year-over-year, up to 5.1 billion cubic meters, according to the press service of the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry.
According to the ministry, oil and gas giant NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine and its subsidiaries reduced gas production by 0.5% during the reporting period, to 4 billion cubic meters.
