Ukrainian major arms manufacturer Ukroboronprom presented at the 13th International arms expo IDEF-2017 in Istanbul its new portable rocket grenade launcher, the company’s press service reports.
The weapon was manufactured by Luch state enterprise, which is part of the State Concern.
The new weapon is designed to engage lightly armored and non-armored vehicles (launchers, radar, parked aircraft, cars, etc.), field facilities (strongpoints), as well as the enemy live force in open spaces, shelters, and structures made of stone, brick, or concrete.

The use of the new opto-electronic sight automates and simplifies the shooter’s performance, ensuring high accuracy of hits at maximum range," the report says.
As reported earlier, Ukroboronprom represents Ukraine at the IDEF-2017 International Defence Industry Fair. The company’s delegation is headed CEO Roman Romanov.
Ukroboronprom showcases newest pieces of equipment produced by Ukraine’s defense industry, including a full-scale sample of Phantom unmanned mini armored vehicle, BTR-3E1 and Dozor-B APCs, Oplot armored vehicle, tank engines and units, missile and artillery pieces, firearms, etc.
