The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) today, May 11, will hold an auction for the purchase of foreign currency worth up to $100 million, according to the regulator's website.
Hryvnia quotations against the dollar on the interbank currency market by the open of the trade settled at UAH 26.42/26.45 to the dollar, the commercial banks' dealers said.
The weighted average exchange rate of the hryvnia as of 10:30 Kyiv time was UAH 26.41 to the dollar.
As UNIAN reported, the National Bank in April replenished its international reserves by buying currency for $402.3 million on the interbank currency market.
