Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has said a bill amending the Law of Ukraine "On Banks and Banking," which provides for state guarantees of individuals' deposits in the state-owned banks, would be signed, according to an UNIAN correspondent.
"All possible risks that may be triggered by the enactment of the law on guaranteed deposits were calculated. The bill will be signed – I'm not going to veto it," the president said at a press conference on Sunday, May 14, on the occasion of the Day of Europe and EU visa waivers for Ukraine.
