Goods purchased by Ukrainians in foreign online platforms are now failing to pass customs clearance, according to OpenDataBot.
The move is reportedly tied to the list of objects of intellectual rights, included in the Ukrainian customs register, OpenDataBot reports.
If the situation does not change, the prices of goods produced by the world’s top brands will skyrocket, while any purchases abroad will become a risky endeavor. Businesses will either move to the shadows or cut their sales and see losses. The publication suggests that the black market will be growing and therefore corruption.
