Ukraine's State Statistics Service has drawn up its own rating of most lucrative professions in the country, stating that specialists in the field of finance and insurance can earn most in Ukraine with an average salary of almost UAH 12,000, or US$456, per month, according to Gazeta.ua.
"The average wage in Ukraine ranges from UAH 4,600 to UAH 11,800 [$175-$448], depending on the type of activity," it said, Gazeta.ua reported.
The highest salaries are in air transportation and insurance, while the lowest are in health care and agriculture.
In particular, wages in agriculture, forestry and fisheries are UAH 4,800 – UAH 5,100, while catering personnel get UAH 4,600 per month.
